Magtrol’s Durability Test 1.0 is a PC-based motor testing program for use with Windows®2000/XP operating systems. Used with a National Instruments™ USB-6008 Multifunction DAQ, a Magtrol 5210 Current-regulated Power Supply, and a compatible Magtrol Hysteresis Brake, Durability Test 1.0 applies user-defined torque load profiles to a motor under test.
 Twenty-four step profiles can be defined by brake current level and time interval. For each step, current can be set to a new value, ramped to a new value, or held constant over a selectable period of time. Profiles can be looped for any number of cycles and can be saved for future tests.

| Written in LabVIEW™, Durability Test 1.0 can be run in “Single” mode for a single test setup or “Dual” mode if two test setups are to be controlled from the same PC. A graph displays progress in real time as the software steps through a test profile.. |
